Welcome to Castaic Coyote Athletics!

At Castaic High School, athletics play a vital role in fostering teamwork, leadership skills, and overall well-being among students. Engaging in sports enables students to cultivate discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship, qualities that are instrumental in a student's personal growth and success. Summer Camps 2024
Summer camp registration will go live on May 1st. Please see all details below concerning the camp schedules, costs, and registration information. As a reminder, no student may participate in a summer camp until they have paid through the ASB Webstore, uploaded a valid physical, and completed all registration through Athletic Clearance.
Sports Physicals (Required Yearly)

All athletes are required to have a valid physical on file at all times in order to participate in sports at Castaic. Sports physicals are good for only one year from the date in which they take place and must be uploaded to the Athletic Clearance website yearly.  The physical may be done by any Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or Nurse Practitioner (NP).

If you are in need of a physical, students can go to their primary care doctor or schedule a low-cost physical with Exer Urgent Care for $25. Details for scheduling a physical with Exer Urgent Care are detailed below. Please be sure to take the physical form with you to your appointment that is linked below.

Date: May 1-August 31, 2024

Where: Exer Urgent Care

(Under "Categories" select "Summer Athletics")  CLICK HERE TO PAY

This physical will cover athletes for all of the 2024-2025 school year, including the fall, winter, and spring sports seasons.

Online Athletic Clearance

All incoming 9th grade athletes, as well as returning athletes, must complete the athletic clearance process online BEFORE they can attend a summer camp or practice with a team. This process must be completed YEARLY. Incoming 9th graders will need to create an account to register the first time. All other returning students simply need to login into their account and upload all paperwork.
Bus Release Form

If a team busses to an event outside of the Santa Clarita Valley and a parent wishes to have their student released to them after an athletic event, they must complete and submit the bus release form, along with coach's signature, to the Principal for signature 24 hours prior to the event. Bus release forms should be used sparingly and only in very special circumstances where a student cannot return to school following a contest or game. Castaic High School will not approve bus request releases for students simply out of family convenience or for reasons not approved by a Coach.
Sportsmanship

Castaic High School expects all student athletes, spectators, and families to abide by the highest levels of sportsmanship at our events. Please see the video below for information on our school's expectations for students and parents.
