YEARBOOK Grades 9-12

Prerequisite: Yearbook application process & interview

Fulfills either the fine arts or practical arts requirement for graduation.

This class is responsible for the publication of the school yearbook. Students enrolling are expected to develop proficiency in 21st-century skills such as copywriting, photography, layout & design creation as well as public relations. Each student is fully responsible for a portion of the yearbook. A proficient ability to write and spell in Standardized American English is required. Students must spend time outside of class working on all phases of yearbook production, including creating Senior Dedications. All photographers must be able to learn how to use a DSLR camera for taking pictures, process images in Photoshop, and create engaging captions.
