The process to obtain a work permit is outlined below. Please update your school’s website to reflect this summer procedure. The only change during the summer is in Step 4, which requires an appointment. Students should arrive prepared with all required paperwork. The district website will also be updated.
Please note
-
If a student has satisfactory grades and attendance, the work permit issued over the summer will expire on August 29, 2026.
-
If the student has a GPA below 2.0 or excessive absences, they will be issued a work permit for the summer only, expiring on August 29, 2025. This will require them to return to their school site for renewal.
